Think you know what a taco is?   Think again. Taking her cue from the taqueros who vend fresh, inventive, lovingly prepared food from roadside stalls in Baja and street-side trucks in Tijuana, author Deborah Schneider shakes up and recombines traditional Mexican flavors in ways that will dazzle your taste buds. 

Schneider is a chef and author of the award-winning Baja! Cooking on the Edge (Rodale) and Cooking with the Seasons (STC), nominated for a 2009 James Beard Award. She is the executive chef and partner in SOL Cocina in Newport Beach.

Sarah Reinertsen is a triathlon athlete and the first female leg amputee to complete the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.

She was born with proximal femoral focal deficiency, a bone-growth disorder which eventually lead to her becoming an above-the-knee amputee at the age of seven.  She never considered abandoning her sports ambitions, and has "authored an inspirational memoir of vulnerability and ebullience and how her emotional Ironman triumph helped heal her family. Mike Torrey is a San Diego based architectural photographer.  His first book, “Stone Offerings: Machu Picchu ’s Terraces of Enlightenment,” recently won the 2010 Benjamin Franklin Award in the Arts category.  In this informative and illustrated program, take a vicarious journey to Machu Picchu in Peru.
